In a landmark transaction led by Darcy Stacom, Deerfield Management Company, an investment firm dedicated to advancing healthcare through information, purchased 345 Park Avenue South for $345 million.

With the goal of converting most of the property’s 311,582 sq ft of commercial space into laboratory space, Deerfield set the foundation for increasing its healthcare businesses’ prospects for the future as well as for attracting more of the life sciences industry to New York City.
