Known as the largest single asset real estate transaction in history, the monumental sale of Stuyvesant Town – Peter Cooper Village marked another record-breaking achievement for Darcy Stacom.
Spanning 80 acres along the East River between 14th and 23rd Streets in Manhattan, the property contains 110 buildings with 11,232 apartments.
As Ms. Stacom stated in the New York Times, “To undertake a $5.4 billion deal took a concerted amount of effort. Most other deals are one building or two buildings – this was 110 of them.”
